Al Faisaliah Advanced Systems Technology is a 100% Saudi-owned company, legally structured as a Sole Proprietorship, and owned by HRH Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Al Saud, the eldest son of the late King Faisal. With it’s operational headquarters in Riyadh, FAST is one of four technology operating companies within the Group, focused on IT systems integration and networking solutions. Since it’s inception in 1971 when it was formed as a partnership between Modern Electronics and Hewlett Packard, the company has been supplying and supporting complete IT solutions, acting as the Sole Agent of HP in the Kingdom. Today the FAST product portfolio has been broadened to include Hewlett Packard, Compaq, Cisco, 3Com and several world-class software houses, ranking it as a market-leading technology company.
FAST has over 300 full-time employees (see page 11) producing revenues of US$ 60M (1998), and supporting well over 1,000 customers from it’s 13 offices across the Kingdom. Through well-established strategic relationships with other multinational corporations, FAST has the resources to deliver turnkey solutions of the highest
calibre.
